Exit: The Appeal of Suicide

November 26th in Room 118

This 40 minute DVD was recently produced by Living Waters.  In it Ray Comfort interviews people who were depressed and who had thought about ending their own lives.  Beyond that, the DVD speaks about the fear of death that so many have.  We all must face death.  And many face death without any hope.  Nor do they have anything for which to live.  But there is a better way.  In Christ we have the promise of life after death; and in Christ we have a reason to live.  This DVD was produced in the hope that you might share it with others, that they too might find hope in Christ.

The jacket of this DVD says: Before you finish reading this, one individual will have ended their life by suicide—because they think they have no other choice. According to the World Health Organization, a massive 800,000 people take their lives every year — one death every 40 seconds. That's 3,000 a day. For millions who suffer from depression and despair, "EXIT" points to a better way. This compelling movie shines a powerful light in the darkness and offers true hope to those who think they have none. Someone you know may secretly be considering their final exit. Watch "EXIT," and share it with those you love.

This movie will be shown on November 26th in Room 118 (Nain) by Rick Page.
