The Gospel of Mark - beginning later in March
This book is one of the four Gospels. Each tells the history of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. Mark was not an apostle, but a companion of the apostles Peter and Paul. Mark wrote for a Roman audience and presents Jesus as the mighty worker of miracles, a man of action, of power! Quickness of action is highlighted in Mark’s gospel, as he uses the word “immediately” no less than 42 times. Join us on a journey through the life of Christ as told by Mark. This class will be taught by Truman Criss in the Fellowship Hall, beginning later in March
