The Apostle Paul came to the City of Thessalonica during his Second Missionary Journey.  The preaching of the gospel there proved successful, and a Christian congregation was born. When Paul left, these new Christians were persecuted for their faith.  So Paul sent Timothy to encourage them to remain steadfast.  Timothy returned to Paul with an excellent report.  The Thessalonians had been a model of faith and love.  In thankfulness, Paul wrote the congregation, urging them to remain firm amid persecutions and live holy lives, abstaining from sexual immorality.  Paul gives special attention to the Second Coming of Jesus and the glorious resurrection of our bodies.

This class will be taught by Truman Criss in the Fellowship Hall beginning November 26, 2017.
