Coming in May

The Gospel of John is one of the four books of the New Testament that cover the life, death and resurrection of Christ.  It was written by the Apostle John, one of the disciples of Jesus.  Originally he was a fisherman from Bethsaida in Galilee, until his Lord called him to catch men instead of fish!  While the other three gospels have many similarities, John’s gospel is unique.  John adds new material not found in the others.  John alone, for example, relates the account of Jesus’ miracle of changing water into wine, His meeting with Nicodemus, His comforting description of Himself as the Good Shepherd, the resurrection of Lazarus, and more.  These and other features make this gospel exciting to study.  This class will begin in May 1 and will be taught by Truman Criss in the Fellowship Hall.
